Did Myles Garrett skip radio appearance to spite SEC Network's Booger McFarland?

I've talked about their team, and their lack of toughness -their lack of physicality - it's one of the things that I've always looked at in Myles Garrett.

Which is perhaps the only way to explain the claim from Jason La Canfora of CBS that running back Leonard Fournette is "in play" for the No. 1 overall pick.

Therefore, if the Browns (or any other team who could possibly trade for the first pick) decide to pass on him, they'd be on his personal hit list.

The rookie mistake prompted Garrett to spin his misstep into an optimistic forecast for the Browns, who went 1-15 last season. A trade down would be perceived by fans and media as a coup if the Browns can credibly take the position that whoever they'd get later is the guy they wanted right out of the gates.

So Browns are probably going to go with the smart play here.

"You can compare me to those wide receivers and the great stars of the league, but I want to show that I'm in a league of my own".

Myles Garrett knows what he wants and the former Texas A&M Aggie wants to be drafted number one overall in the 2017 NFL Draft when the Cleveland Browns announce their selection on April 27th with the top pick.

McFarland had this to say about Garrett and what could've contributed to his canceled appearance.

"The Cowboys are my hometown team, but when push comes to shove, I want to go No. 1. I'd rather be hugging my family and friends", Garrett said in the interview with ESPN The Magazine.

And don't expect a photo of him hugging Commissioner Roger Goodell on draft night. Garrett isn't shy about setting the bar high for his career - and not just at winning defensive player of the year, which he has put on his "to do" checklist.

The Browns are coming off the worst season in franchise history after narrowly avoiding 0-16 on Christmas eve and they remain the doormat of the National Football League with 88 wins and 200 losses on their resume since 1999.
