Isaiah Thomas back in Tacoma after death of sister

Their output has caught up to those desires so far during the postseason.

The Chicago Bulls powered past the Boston Celtics 111-97 Tuesday to take a 2-0 lead over the Eastern Conference top seeds in their National Basketball Association playoff series, while the Toronto Raptors avoided falling into an 0-2 hole.

While some might be shocked by how Chicago has played as a No. 8 seed that was just 41-41, Butler made it clear he's not one of those folks. Rondo's night ended with 11 points and 14 assists on a night when all five Bulls starters reached double figures. If Wade and Rondo are back, the Bulls are pretty well set at the perimeter positons with those two players, plus Butler, Grant, Payne, Zipser and Denzel Valentine, and the center spot is covered with Robin Lopez and either Felicio or Joffrey Lauvergne. "That's where your confidence always comes from". Game 3 is scheduled for Friday.

The Bulls blow out the Celtics in Game 2, 111-97, to take a 2-0 lead and the unlikely advantage despite being the eighth seed. However, his greatest playoff moment came in Game 7 of the NBA Finals when he scored 30 points and added 40 rebounds. On the other end, Chicago scored 23 points off 16 Celtics turnovers.

Rondo's words accompanying that picture, in which he strongly rebuked the decision by Wade and Butler to criticize teammates following a late-game collapse to the Hawks the night before, prompted a team meeting, fines and national negative attention. I don't even feel it's a sure thing that the Bulls will win the series.

Not moving any of their picks or young players at the deadline was a reasonable decision, and at the time a defensible one. But the Bulls are only converting at 46.9 per cent from the field and 35.3 per cent on 3-pointers, so it's not as if they're shooting lights out. I've been a little bit more aggressive offensively, but before the game, Jimmy and D-Wade kept telling me to shoot the ball and stay aggressive. Will the Celtics re-sign Kelly Olynyk or extend Marcus Smart and Avery Bradley?

"We're not? Did a team drop out of the league?" He knows what it takes to win. Keeping a wide rebounding margin would bode well for the Bulls. They could have gotten Ibaka or Taj Gibson, two forwards that would have been massive upgrades on Amir Johnson and helped solve Boston's rebounding issues.

Jordan finished with 18 points and 15 rebounds, and Chris Paul added 21 points and 10 assists for the Clippers, who crushed the Jazz in the paint, 60-38.

Now, the Bulls are in complete control of their first-round Eastern Conference series against the top-seeded Boston Celtics.

"They played with an intensity and level from the beginning of the game", Jazz coach Quin Snyder said.

The same can not be said for Thomas. They have up.' But you never can let a team see that.
