Xbox Backwards Compatibility - Microsoft deal big blow to Xbox One owners

At the moment, there are 386 Xbox 360 games playable on Xbox One after the feature was announced at the Microsoft E3 conference in June 2015. If I were to make a comparison on the capabilities with the 6 teraflops and the extra RAM we have in the machine, the true 4K gaming, which is more than just the 8 million pixels; you've got HDR, spacial audio support with Dolby Atmos. This is particularly important for rendering high res textures, since both consoles aim to offer 4K quality. According to Phil Spencer many of these games will be enhanced and remastered to run on 4K graphics.

For Microsoft, which will not be making any money off of each Xbox One X sold, it is hoping that the power of the console is enough to attract more players into the Xbox platform.

Existing Xbox One games will work on the new console, as will Xbox 360, and original Xbox titles updated with backward compatibility. Microsoft showed the new Xbox One X at E3 2017 and it is a handsome machine but inessential.
