Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Lucky Whitehead reunited with missing dog

In a story you definitely won't hear everyday, and one that is incredibly uncool, Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Lucky Whitehead had his dog Blitz stolen while Whitehead was on vacation. The grey dog was proudly featured on Whitehead's social media accounts as his best canine friend.

He then went on to claim he didn't steal the dog (again, this is NSFW), but that he bought it and was simply asking for his money back.

The drama unfolded when Whitehead started getting phone calls demanding he "cut a check" if he wants to get Blitz back alive, but he refused to pay the $10,000 ransom without first getting proof that the dog was OK.

'I strongly advise you to stop and return my boy safely before it gets any worse!' Whitehead wrote in a post on Instagram. Whitehead posted, along with a video of his dog. The dog was being watched by a "close friend" of Whitehead's when someone allegedly broke into the house and stole Blitz. "It's sickening", Whitehead said of Blitz, who has been in the National Football League player's possession for nine weeks. "It's killing me. It hurts because I don't know how he's being treated". Whitehead was in Florida, he says.

Whitehead, 25, said he tried to get detectives on the case, but their investigation reached a dead end because the kidnappers' phones were untraceable.

Whitehead's dog was being held for random by Fort Worth rapper Boogotti Kasino, who posted videos of himself and several acquaintances with the pooch. The station has also reached out to the Cowboys for comment and has not yet received a response.
