SONY ESPN to broadcast Manny Pacquiao vs. Jeff Horn in India

Regarding the headliner, it will mark the first time that Manny Pacquiao has not boxed on pay per view tonight in more than a decade and is expected to draw a significant audience on ESPN in the United States and internationally in Australia.

For the first time since 2005, a Pacquiao fight hasn't been restricted to pay-per-view in America.

The veteran trainer was on stage and watched as the young, unbeaten Australian held his breath while on top of the scale, before boxing announcer par excellence Michael Buffer announced that Horn tipped in at exactly 147.

Given that his goal is to land another big-money fight in the U.S., preferably a rematch with Mayweather, a victory decided by the judges won't cut it for Pacquiao.

Pacquiao has beaten some of the best-Oscar de la Hoya, Shane Mosley, Ricky Hatton, Jesse Vargas-while 29-year-old Horn is stepping up in class substantially in the WBO title fight.

Freddie Roach believes Manny Pacquiao will make his bout with Jeff Horn "short and sweet", even though it's been a long while since Pacquiao pulled off a stoppage victory. "The prevailing opinion is that if Pacquiao can't stop Horn, who is supposed to be tailor-made for him, then nobody will be interested in a Mayweather rematch".

Highly-rated Canberra boxer David Toussaint will take on Shane Mosley Jr in the first televised fixture while Ireland's Michael Conlan - who is helping UFC star Conor McGregor prepare for his clash with Floyd Mayweather Jr - is scheduled for his third professional bout against Queenslander Jarrett Owen. If he were to lose, Roach said he'd likely recommend retirement. "I feel good. Weight is not a problem".

Pacquiao hasn't won by knockout since 2009, but Roach said the 38-year-old eight-division champ has knocked down sparring partners and is in vintage form.

Experience, "is my advantage", Pacquiao said.

"But I want to make sure that I use my experience properly", he said.

During the week, he has talked about being disrespected amid talk of another Pacquiao-Mayweather fight, and said he had the weapons to knock out Pacquiao.

"All of that's going to dawn on Manny very early in the fight".

"Game face is on, school's out", Horn told reporters.
