Colbert interviews 'God' about Trump taking out North Korea

It was an escalation of words Tuesday between the US and North Korea, following reports that the small country had created a warhead small enough to fit on top of an intercontinental ballistic missile. First, that the USA was not the only country behind the sanctions, although the North Koreans' fiery rhetoric continues to target them.

Late-night TV host Stephen Colbert performed a mock interview with God on Wednesday to ridicule the idea of President Donald Trump's claiming religious authority to take out North Korean Leader Kim Jong-un. "I don't want to be an alarmist, but we are all going to die". We sanctioned Russian Federation just last week and it felt pretty great. they threaten us in a way you never will! "It is now far stronger and more powerful than ever before.Hopefully we will never have to use this power, but there will never be a time that we are not the most powerful nation in the world!"

Humphrey said that Donald Trump should be relieved of the powers of the Presidency as soon as possible.

"They count on me to be a straight shooter with a calm voice", he said to start his monologue Tuesday. "North Korea best not make any more threats to the United States". Whether he is tweeting about something that he asserts is "sad" or speaking nonsensically at a Boy Scout jamboree, for the most part we accept most of what he says with a combination of resignation and disbelief. "The United States, we sanction a lot of other countries, OK?"

"I think in the president's mind, he wanted to be sure to send a message back which says, 'Just to be clear that you're not intimidating anybody, '" said Kenneth Quinn, president of the World Food Prize Foundation. "He (Kim Jong-un) has been very threatening, beyond a normal statement".
