Off the Hook: Lowering Dollar Dependency Helps Russia Guard Against US Sanctions

The U.S. wants to retain ties with Russian Federation despite alleged interference in the U.S. presidential election, Secretary of State Rex Tillerson said Monday.

In the same statement, Lavrov said he "had a lengthy meeting with Rex Tillerson".

More than one week after President Vladimir Putin announced he will expel 755 USA diplomats and workers and confiscate two State Dept. properties in Russia, President Donald Trump has not even acknowledged the attack on America and its emissaries. 'It is a stance on Russian Federation that is mostly negative and we see how the compliance with the proposals, ideas and concepts that took Trump to office is stuck.

Rex Tillerson, the U.S. Secretary of State has offered to settle the now frosty relationship between America and Russian Federation even as he noted that it is needles for both countries to cut ties over disagreements.

The Russian Foreign Ministry has said that they are ready to normalise talks only if the USA gives up the confrontational line.

Tillerson said that he had tried to help Lavrov understand "just how serious this incident had been".

To that end, Tillerson said the USA has been providing the Philippines with surveillance capabilities, training, information and aircraft to help it fight the militants. Richard Blumenthal, calling him a "phony Vietnam con artist" shortly after the Democratic lawmaker said the investigation into Russian meddling in the election and possible collusion by the Trump campaign must be pursued. Tillerson has cited modest signs of progress in Syria, where the USA and Russian Federation recently brokered a cease-fire in the war-torn country's southwest, as a sign there's fertile ground for cooperation.

"I told the foreign minister we had not made a decision regarding how we will respond to Russia's request to remove USA diplomatic personnel", he said. We hope that our contacts with the United States will continue also in relation to other aspects, both military and political, of the Syrian settlement. The US estimate of a Thai trade surplus of US$18.9 billion put it in 11th place on US President Donald Trump's list of countries to be investigated.

Last week, Mr Trump grudgingly signed a bill punishing Russian Federation for election meddling and making it harder for him to ease sanctions on Vladimir Putin's government.

The Trump administration has been seeking closer ties to Russian Federation, especially on fighting ISIS and pressuring North Korea.

Russian Federation also closed a US recreational retreat on the outskirts of Moscow. "Unsurprisingly, Russia can not simply ignore action of this kind, including the unlawful seizure of Russian diplomatic property since December past year". Other issues discussed included the situation on the Korean Peninsula following the adoption of UN Security Council Resolution 2371 on August 5.

Malaysia and the United States enjoy excellent relations with substantial collaboration in many areas. This painful problem must go through together only, concluded Mr Lavrov.
