Inexperience Costs Champions League's Youngest Ever Goalkeeper Vs Manchester United

The manager caused concern among United fans over the week-end by saying his current job wouldn't be his last.

Mourinho raised eyebrows last week when he said that he did not see his long-term future at Old Trafford, hinting that Paris Saint-Germain would be a viable future destination in the same interview.

Manchester United's own Andreas Pereira was said to be a serious consideration, but the Portuguese stopper stayed where he is, a decision he may reevaluate in the summer if other young goalkeepers continue coming to prominence around Europe.

"Manchester United left Anfield with a point at the weekend and, after producing another staunch rear-guard performance in the Premier League, should do likewise to gain a result in the Champions League", Owen told Metro.

'One day it [the media] says that I'm going to sign a five-year contract, £1bn per season, and then the next day you say that I'm leaving and I'm going to Paris St-Germain.

"I think it's the impossible mission, even if you want, even if you try".

Manchester United were criticised for their lack of adventure on Merseyside against a particularly leaky Liverpool defence.

"I think that's the answer - the answer is that nothing is happening".

The Special One is still without Marouane Fellaini, Paul Pogba, Eric Bailly and Zlatan Ibrahimovic through injury.

The likes of Ander Herrera and Axel Tuanzebe were all smiles as the players locked hands during a game at the Estadio da Luz.

"So for me words without any meaning and the FA committee is there to analyse and to make decisions, and no comments (from me)".
