Missing Teen Wipes Cellphone Data, Runs Away With Coach

A missing 17-year-old Florida girl who is believed to be with her soccer coach has been spotted in Georgia and SC, according to authorities.

Caitlyn Frisina professedly wiped her telephone clean before she cleared out her Columbia County Home "voluntarily", the Columbia County Sheriff's Office said in a news discharge.

Deputies said Frisina left her home of her own accord and fully erased her phone prior to leaving.

The Columbia County Sheriff's Office said they believe the two are headed north after Frisina withdrew $200 United States dollars from an ATM in St. Mary's Georgia on Sunday.

She was reported missing Sunday, the same day she withdrew $200 from an ATM.

'Chandler and all of our family and friends love you, too, and are praying for you, as well!

The district released a letter saying that he has been suspended pending an investigation. We want to hear your voice, baby girl.

"As far as we know, he was just a friend", she said. "We just want to know that she's safe".

A statewide missing child alert has now been issued for a 17-year-old girl believed to be with a soccer coach from a Lake City high school.

Her mother, Scarlet Frisina, wrote on Facebook Monday afternoon, "I want you to know how very much we love you and miss you!"

I have always told you we can deal with anything if we have the facts. He said Frisina has family in NY and Rodriguez has family in Canada and possibly Pennsylvania.

Authorities say there was no sign that Caitlyn was involved with Rodriguez and that she left behind a boyfriend. But authorities "believe strongly they're heading northeast", Smith said. She left with only a few clothes. No other comments will be made pending this investigation.

"Let somebody know that you are safe", Scarlet Frisina told First Coast News, making a tearful plea.

Rodriguez is reported to be driving a red Mercury Sable.

Anyone with information about Caitlyn's whereabouts is asked to call the Sheriff's Office at 386-719-2005.
