The update is rolling out with Firmware version J327UUEU1AQJ1 in US. It revealed the images and text for "Android 8.0 Oreo" for the Galaxy S8. Hopefully, this is likely a software bug that Samsung can fix with an update. It's a tempting download, but most Galaxy S8 users are better off staying on Android 7.0 Nougat.

Samsung hasn't given any indication as to how long the beta phase will last for, or when the general public can expect to receive the update. "We call this the IT Paradox, and the Note8 Enterprise Edition helps solve it by providing simple and comprehensive tools for IT to manage and secure their mobile environment, while giving users a device they will love".

There are plenty of reasons to signup for and try the Galaxy S8 Android Oreo beta if it's available in your country.

The sales of Samsung Galaxy Note 8 smartphone in South Korea have reached 1 million units in a little over a month's time after the device hit local shelves, industry data showed on Thursday. The update does include Android 8.0 Oreo as well. The official version of Android 8.0 Oreo might not arrive until next year. Before installing the update make sure to backup all the important data and files as well.

The Galaxy Note 8 Enterprise Edition is designed specifically for enterprise and small- and medium-sized business (SMB) users.

Samsung Galaxy J3 (2017) update contains no new features other than the october security patch. Some of the features included in Android 8.1 Oreo DP1 are adaptive Light/Dark UI, semi-transparent Quick Settings, settings app with new colour, auto-dimming of navigation bars and less bugging notification alerts.
