'Star Wars: The Last Jedi' gets a new trailer

However, EA is fairly interested in discounting the game a few weeks prior to the release of Star Wars: The Last Jedi to take advantage of excited and hyped fans.

Here's a scene that'll warm the hearts of nerds everywhere: Luke Skywalker walking into the cockpit of the Millennium Falcon.

In the last film, Star Wars: The Force Awakens we met Rey, played by Daisy Ridley, though we didn't know that much about her.

Although the most plausible theory as to who Luke is talking to in the trailer is Kylo Ren, the new alternate trailer reveals that he's actually talking about Ben Solo, not Kylo Ren or Rey. Aside from the Death Star, the Falcon is probably the most famous spacecraft from the Star Wars universe, and was a home away from home for Skywalker in the original trilogy.

Oh, and yes: that Porg that everybody was going insane about the last time a "Star Wars" trailer was released? The new preview runs about a minute less than the previous trailer, cutting out the scene involving Supreme Leader Snoke. Lucasfilm is also demanding that theaters show the film in their largest screen for at least four weeks after release and is imposing draconian restrictions and penalties to prevent early leaks.

In any case, we don't have long to wait: Star Wars Episode 8 hits cinemas on December 15 - may the Force be with you. There's a ton of interest around the film-so much that Lucasfilm has been able to demand a almost unprecedented 65 percent cut of theater ticket sales. Filming of that film wrapped up last month.
