Tim Sherwood makes exciting prediction for Tottenham fans ahead of Arsenal clash

Despite a series of injury problems, Tottenham head into the first North London derby of the season in confident mood.

Arsenal last thumped Tottenham?

It's the first match back after the worldwide break for most of the Arsenal players but Arsebe Wenger was asked why Laurent Koscielny and Olivier Giroud were sent back early from the France squad.

"In the last 22, 23 years, we have only finished above Arsenal one time", Pochettino said Thursday.

"We did it with Sol Campbell so we can do it again - Harry Kane's a Gooner and we will get him back".

Michel Vorm also pulled out of the Netherlands squad, and with long-term absentees Victor Wanyama and Erik Lamela still on the sidelines, Mauricio Pochettino's will be hopeful some of his star men pull through.

Neither side has any suspensions to worry about heading into the match.

Shkodran Mustafi and Danny Welbeck could return, having both been out since October, while Alex Iwobi will be checked after having to fly back from Russian Federation via Nigeria having starred for the Super Eagles in their win over Argentina.

Lacazette has made an impressive start to his Arsenal career since his £52million move from Lyon in the summer, but was surprisingly left out of the starting line-up for the defeat against Pep Guardiola's league leaders, with Alexis Sanchez deployed in a central position for the first time this term.

"Our target is to win the title and be successful during the season, not necessarily looking at what Tottenham are doing".

Pochettino is yet to win a trophy for Tottenham whereas Wenger has three Premier League titles, the most recent in 2004, and seven FA Cups with Arsenal, although they missed out on this season's Champions League.

It was a 24-hour period at the start of November that really drove home the reality that Tottenham, after decades of playing second fiddle to Arsenal, was the new dominant force in north London.

Both teams have scored on 34 occasions, more than any other fixture in the competition.

Speaking to Sky Sports, Morgan said: "Harry Kane's brilliant".
