Boy calls 911 to catch the Grinch

OK, so maybe no one knows exactly how someone stole a family's Christmas Grinch yet.

"We all started laughing and thought, 'No, he didn't, '" said Brown of finding out that her son really did dial 911.

"You better not have", his mom, TeResa Pittman, replied, assuming he was joking.

TyLon Pittman's brother captured the interaction on video, which he posted on his Facebook page.

On Monday, TyLon got his wish and arrested the Grinch.

TyLon produced the evidence, offering up his phone to show her the shocking YouTube clip he had seen. The Grinch just shrugged his shoulders, but he did tell the junior crime fighter that, "You have saved Christmas for the people of Byram". "The look on his face was so serious".

Christmas isn't going to be ruined on THIS five-year-old's watch.

After speaking with Develle, TyLon felt a little better. "Then the Grinch talked to him and said he was sorry and that he would stop stealing Christmas presents".

"TyLon's brother, who is home from the air force, made a decision to post a video of his little brother's call to the police on Facebook". TyLon, who wants to be a police officer when he grows up, was thrilled. When the boy arrived, officers surprised him with the Grinch in the back of a police vehicle.

"I want y'all to come back to my house and take him to jail", TyLon said simply.

The 5-year-old helped close the door to the cell. He then told the boy that when he is 21, to return to the police station and fill out a job application.
