Hannibal Buress Asked Cop to Call Him an Uber ... Before Arrest

Stand-up comedian and actor Hannibal Buress was arrested last night, and there's a video going around social media documenting his heated exchange with the arresting officers.

According to Miami Herald, Buress was booked in the Wynwood Arts District, which is hosting numerous Art Basel-related events, on a disorderly intoxication charge at 1:57 a.m. and posted bail around 6 a.m.

As the argument went on Buress refused to get in the police auto and the cops physically pushed Buress into their vehicle and drove him to the precinct. He screams at the officers, "Am I under arrest?"

'Explain what I'm detained for.

Buress again asks "what am I being detained for?"

Burress eventually refused to get into the police auto after the confrontation went on for several minutes, leading to him being pushed into the police vehicle.

In a report from TMZ, the comedian allegedly approached the police and asked for an Uber. The officer says he refused, which caused Hannibal to become angry and belligerent. When the officer declined, Buress went into a venue and the officer followed him, feeling he was too intoxicated to remain. The video begins after Buress was already cuffed. The tweet read: "Hello Billy, Mr. Buress was arrested for disorderly intoxication, on December 9, 2017, at approximately 10:30 p.m".

Buress is credited with helping to take down pervy comedian Bill Cosby after a 2014 bit calling the elder comedian racist renewed scrutiny over long-standing allegations that Cosby had drugged and raped women. What do you make of Buress' arrest?

He has appeared in several TV shows and movies including Broad City and Spider-Man: Homecoming.
