Jose Mourinho 'not ruling out transfer swoop for Eden Hazard'

Jose Mourinho 'not ruling out transfer swoop for Eden Hazard'

Amid talk of Manchester United targeting a move for Eden Hazard, Antonio Conte was quick to point out that there are a "lot of rumours" doing the rounds in January and that his players must remain focused on the task at hand.

"Manchester United are the favourites at 5/2 to pounce for the youngster, while Jose Mourinho's former club Chelsea follow closely behind at 4/1 to bring the Spaniard to the Premier League". But there will be a lot of rumours now.

It is a well known fact that Spanish super club Real Madrid possesses one of the best squads in world football, but with such an abundance of talent comes the hard task of keeping every player happy. We must be ready to face these rumours.

Hazard has already turned down a mega money contract, believed to be worth in the order of £300,000-a-week, and has been heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid.

Reports claim that Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane has told club president Florentino Perez to do everything in his power to bring the Belgian worldwide to the Bernabeu.

"I'm enjoying being with these players and I'm ready to continue to play with all these players".

But Mourinho sees Hazard as the missing piece in his Old Trafford jigsaw. We have to leave these rumours and for sure my players are very clever to be focused on this period to play, go game-by-game and don't listen to these rumours.

Manchester United are searching for reinforcements on the wing, with the club being linked to the likes of Leon Bailey, Malcom, Marco Asensio and many more.

That lack of desire to commit his future to the Blues has led to plenty of speculation over where Hazard's career now lies and United seem to think they can entice him to the north west of England.
