A Nokia event at January 19th is expected to star the Nokia 9, but it's looking increasingly likely that we'll see an appearance from the Nokia 6 and Nokia 8 as well. This possibly means that the bezels of the new Nokia 6 may undergo a trimming. A smartphone with TA-1054 model number with dual SIM was revealed in the screenshot. The 2018 version of the phone might release in January or February, as per the reports.

The Nokia 6 (2018) was also spotted in Chinese TENAA listings, including images and specs, both of which show an 18:9 display and a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.

While details are unavailable yet, rumours suggest it will come with latest Snapdragon 600 series specifically the previous rumour pointed out at the usage of Snapdragon 660 SoC. Strikingly, now nothing is expected of Nokia 9 and all the buzz is related to Nokia 6, the second generation device from Nokia. While some of these have yet to be confirmed, the certification through TENAA lists some specifications that are pretty safe to assume will be present in the upcoming phones. As per the report, in terms of features, the upcoming Nokia 6 (2018) is expected sport a 5.5-inch screen with 18:9 resolution display and "dual-lens camera or may be just the Dual-Sight aka Bothie feature".

The Nokia 9 and Nokia 6 (2018) have both popped up in certification documents in China, strongly hinting at a January launch for the two new Android phones.

To recall, Nokia 6 comes with 5.50 inch Full HD display. Likewise, the new Nokia 6 may also fall under the budget phone category - however, there are no official word on the same as of yet.

The smartphone has settled for a single camera on the back and on the front. The device is powered by 1.4GHz octa-core Snapdragon 430 processor. The device runs Android Nougat out of the box. The Bothie feature essentially allows users to simultaneously shoot photos from the front and rear cameras.
