WWE 2018 Royal Rumble Preview & Predictions (1/28/18): First Women's Rumble In History

WWE will present the 2018 Royal Rumble this Sunday on WWE Network, live from Philadelphia.

Who would you like to see answer the challenge? Some reports initially claimed Ronda Rousey may compete in the historic match, but she denied this.

In an airport interview with TMZ, Rousey explained that she'll be in South America until February working on a movie.

Her next battle could come inside a WWE ring. You would figure six or so women from NXT (Nikki Cross, Peyton Royce, Billie Kay, Kairi Sane and Bianca Belair would be a fine group) and seven legends or debuts - which could include Stephanie McMahon joining the fray despite being on commentary.

Still, if he is the favourite with the bookmakers, chances are they know something we don't.

While women have taken part in previous Royal Rumble matches, this will be the inaugural time that 30 of WWE's female talents will compete against each other in the elimination match. "I'm not anxious about anybody taking my belt". My favorite for this year has to be "The King Of Strong Style" Shinsuke Nakamura, despite it being his Rumble debut he has more than enough pedigree to outlast his opponents. Also a win would help build on her undefeated streak. While I want to see her enter the Rumble, I don't want her to win. This would also play into that no one is ready for Asuka. I put that match against Ricky Steamboat-Randy Savage, Ricky Steamboat-Ric Flair.

At 11 p.m., right after the popular pay-per-view event draws to a close, Pete "Taz" Senerchia, the former two-time ECW world champion, former WWE wrestler and current co-host of CBS Sports Radio's "Taz and the Moose", will host the three-hour special, which can be heard on on WFAN, and CBS Sports Radio. "I'm going to find that video one day".

As we closed in the finish, Styles continued to take a beating from his two opponents and was almost pinned at one point after a Blue Thunder Bomb.

Will The Undertaker be in the match to set up his rumored Wrestlemania match with John Cena?

On the other hand, probably the player did have such an instinct as, post the match ended without a victor, Angle can now all set to offer the WWE Universe a colossal free-for-all pitting the three forces of nature which can go against each other.

How can I watch the Royal Rumble kickoff show? Now I have already made my predictions for all the matches and who I think is going to win both the Royal Rumbles. I'm leaving the door open ever so slightly for a Strowman win to set up a Triple Threat with Reigns and Lesnar for WrestleMania, but I'm certainly not banking on it.

Originally, plans were to have Balor face Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship at tonight's show. In fact, I remain convinced that the late Mahatma Gandhi and the late Mother Teresa would have both been booed if they stood next to a Rumble winning Reigns in Philadelphia.

To me that first leaves Shinesuke Nakamura. This time, history will be created as for the first time in history, there will be two rumble matches. I said cool, just give me a plane ticket. They could save that for Summerslam.

WWE fans are hopping on the Road to Wrestlemania, and the first stop is the Royal Rumble on January 28.

Well there you have it.
