The singer dropped his new album Man Of The Woods today, and also delivered a press conference about his highly-awaited set on Sunday night. Timberlake responded: "Uh, he will never play football".

Justin Timberlake answers questions during a news conference for the NFL Super Bowl 52 football game halftime show Thursday, Feb. 1, 2018, in Minneapolis.

After he jokingly offered to step in to play for the New England Patriots if they needed him, he was asked if he would support his two-year-old son, Silas, in "running some routes in the NFL (National Football League)". "I think that's the greatest thing anyone can to do express joy".

"I don't know that a lot of people know that", Timberlake said. "That's a big deal in our house".

"I think all of you know I'm telling the truth when I say nothing could ever come between Jimmy and I", said Timberlake.

"I like making dance music".

"I'm excited to be on this stage once again at this point in my life", Timberlake said.

In an open letter to Justin, the conservative TV watchdog group notes that, in the 14 years since his infamous "Nipplegate" scandal with Janet Jackson at the 2004 Super Bowl, things have changed with the pop superstar. See more pics from last year's Super Bowl Halftime performance show here.

While he was asked about his bromance with Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, saying, "Tom's great".

His first Super Bowl halftime show was in 2001 as part of 'N Sync.
