Jose Mourinho thinks Zlatan Ibrahimovic will leave Manchester United

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho said Friday that the thinks Zlatan Ibrahimovic will leave the club after this season.

It may be the case that Ibrahimovic still has a part to play for United in the closing months of the season, with the Red Devils' busy schedule on the horizon in three separate competitions (Premier League, Champions League and FA Cup).

Galaxy have had a long-standing interest in Ibrahimovic and have held talks with the Swedish striker's agent, Mino Raiola, with a view to trying to entice the 36 year-old to America.

Unfortunately, Ibrahimovic has been unable to appear for the side with several complications during his recovery.

Ibrahimovic has always been linked with MLS and could even be a target for Liga MX when you look at the league's recent track record of signing important players who were in Europe, though none are at the level of Ibrahimovic. After making a return from injury, he had failed to create an impact and had to sit out in a few games which sparked rumours of a bust-up between him and the Portuguese manager.

"Until the points tally (confirms it) is over, we won't say that we are going to give up", the experienced England global told ESPN FC.

"In the Champions League, I think any one of 10 teams can win it", Irwin asserted, as quoted by PA.

"I think he has won the right of choosing his life, his future, such an incredible player and unbelievable career that only that bad injury in the wrong moment broke a fantastic couple of seasons he could and should have with us", said the Portuguese.

To conclude, Mourinho revealed that the sign in training are positive and admired the determination.

With the 20-time Premier League champions improving steadily, their former right-back and current Sky pundit Gary Neville has had his say about Mourinho as well as the man he thinks should take over from the ex-Chelsea gaffer.

He's not injured. Does he feel totally happy, ready and convinced that he's in conditions to help the team in this moment?
