Neymar Yearns for Barcelona Return

Paris Saint-Germain's Brazilian forward Neymar misses his ex-Barcelona teammates and has offered himself to his former club, the Spanish sports newspaper Mundo Deportivo has reported.

The 25-year-old now wants to know what it will take to return to Catalunya.

Mundo Deportivo concedes Neymar´s courting of Barcelona may even be a tactic to justify a move to Real, given the Catalan club are likely to reject any chance to re-sign the 26-year-old.

However, it remains to be seen whether or not the Blaugrana's bosses would be prepared to forget Neymar's antics before his world record move.

Although our former Brazilian global, Neymar Jnr, only left the Camp Nou last summer, in a world record transfer move, to join Paris Saint-Germain, you get the impression his stay in French football won't be too long a one. He also didn't expect the level of Ligue 1 to be so inferior to La Liga. "It is a fantasy and we are not going to speak about rumors when we know it would not end here".

Neymar reportedly sent messages to Barca players he considers close friends stating that he could envisage a return to the Camp Nou in 2019.

Before that, Real Madrid's President Florentino Peres said he wanted to buy Neymar and was ready to bring Cristiano Ronaldo into the possible deal.

He also reckons Barca's arch-rivals, Real Madrid, are sniffing around.

Real coach Zinedine Zidane said on Friday: "Neymar could play in all the clubs because he is very good, like many players".

"It seemed insane to me and 10 years later they are paying 220 million".

Neymar, who is recovering in his homeland of Brazil where he underwent surgery on his right foot after fracturing his metatarsal against Marseille in February, is expected to return to action in around three months time, with Brazil's World Cup campaign kicking off against Switzerland on June 17.
