Smallville's Allison Mack likely facing arrest in connection to cult

Smallville stars Kristin Kreuk and Allison Mack have been implicated in cult that forced women to sleep with its leader and branded them.

Information continues to surface surrounding the alleged Capital Region cult NXIVM and its founder Keith Raniere who now faces a number of federal charges, including sex trafficking.

The pair were members of Keith Raniere's group NXIVM (pronounced nexium), in which women were forced to sleep with Raniere and forcibly branded near their groins, the New York Post reports.

Fellow Smallville actress Kristen Kreuk denied rumors that she introduced the pair, but admitted to having once taken NXIVM courses to help with "shyness".

According to reports from around the time of the NYT article, Mack was a high-level recruiter for the organization, positioned directly below Raniere, and may have been responsible for the creation of DOS in 2015.

Ranier was arrested on Monday in Mexico, and he was reportedly staying at a $10,000 a week villa with numerous women.

Back in November, it was revealed that Smallville actress Allison Mack was the leader of an abusive sex cult - a story many people weren't expecting to hear. In 2012, she actually brought Mack into the organization, but left following concerns of Raniere being a sexual predator with underage girls. She also stated that during her time there she never witnesses any illegal activity and hadn't had contact with the organization in five years.

The New York Post said that Kreuk had been apart of NXIVM's "Dominus Obsequious Sororium", which means "Master Over the Slave Woman".

"Thank you to all of the fearless women who have come forward to share their stories and expose DOS; I can't imagine how hard this has been for you", Keruk's statement continued. "She started as a slave and she became a slave master". Reports stated that he liked thin women so the sex slaves in his group were only allowed to eat 500 to 800 calories a day. "She is a lovely person who should not be dragged into this mess".

"Thank you to all the fearless women who have come forward to share their stories and expose DOS; I can't imagine how hard this has been for you". Other members also reportedly include former "Dallas" star Catherine Oxenberg's daughter India Oxenberg, wealthy Seagram's heiresses Sara and Clare Bronfman, and "Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li" star Kristin Kreuk. Mexican officials took Keith Raniere into custody in Puerta Vallarta, where he fled a year ago.
