Two officers responded. Shortly thereafter, Hall said, police received another call for assistance-the two responding officers had been shot, as well as the loss prevention employee.

The shooting happened Tuesday afternoon at 4:30 p.m. near the store in the 11600 block of Forest Central Drive.

All of those injured in the shooting were transported to Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas.

29-year-old Armando Juarez is in police custody following a pursuit.

"We need you right now, our hearts are very heavy", she said.

Heavily armed officers wearing masks were also seen searching a creek bed behind the store, CBS reported.

They did, however, release the name of a person of interest in the shooting, 29-year-old Armando Juarez.

They say he should be considered armed and unsafe.

In 2016, a sniper shot and killed five Dallas police officers at a rally where hundreds of people were protesting other officer-involved shootings around the country.

Authorities requested for prayers for officers, their households, and the police division. His or her condition is unknown at this time.

He added that regulation enforcement was preventing a "two entrance battle": on the hospital for the well being of the injured officers and locally looking for Juarez.

A male officer, 27, was shot in the head, and a female officer was shot in the face. By 10 p.m., they were out of surgery, but police did not provide updates on their conditions.
