A stalker broke into Taylor Swift's New York City townhouse and took a nap, police said. Taylor was not home to spot the activity however, the fan made himself feel at home by showering and napping in addition to breaking in while drunk.

Though it is obviously troubling, a source told TMZ that Taylor has never actually lived in the property, which she acquired in late 2017 for $18 million. Once he got inside, he took a shower and fell asleep in a bed.

Late on Thursday night, an intruder broke into Taylor's NY apartment. On February 13, he was arrested for attempting to break down the front door of the building by bashing it with a shovel.

Roger Alvarado, 22, of Homestead, Florida, was arrested on charges of stalking in the first degree, burglary, criminal mischief in the third degree and criminal trespassing in the third degree.
