Trump suggests meeting Kim Jong Un in Truce Village at DMZ

Trump, who regularly tweeted insults and threats at Kim through much of past year, has been credited by many, not least himself, for helping to create the landscape for peace talks.

What sort of game is North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un playing?

"We are ready for the hosting of the meeting", Widodo told a press conference after his meeting with the ambassadors.

Afterwards an official from the presidential Blue House in Seoul said Moon had been been contacted by the widow of former leader Kim Dae-Jung.

Rodman gave Kim a copy of Trump's best-seller "The Art of the Deal" when he visited North Korea previous year, according to TMZ.

That's what South Korean President Moon Jae-in has suggested the credit-hungry US president receive for his role in the ongoing North Korean nuclear crisis.

Mr Kim said it was the "starting point" for peace, after crossing the military line that divides the peninsula.

Rodman told TMZ that he played a big role in getting North Korean leader Kim Jong Un to meet with President Donald Trump to discuss the country's nuclear weapons.

Kim referenced preparations for the meeting in remarks to the Politburo of the Workers' Party of Korea on April 9.

Critics of the U.S. administration have derided the words, claiming that the very thought of President Trump being nominated for the award was as unexpected as a possible end to the long standoff in the Korean peninsula.

But in a tweet Monday, Trump mentioned the possibility of meeting Kim on the border between North and South Korea - where the summit between Kim and Moon took place. "If it's not a success - you got to get rid of the nuclear weapons - if it's not a success, I will respectfully leave".

"As a leader of African continent and beyond, I look forward to seeing Nigeria government support in the process of bringing peace to the Korean Peninsula", In-tae said.

"There is something that I thought was intriguing", Trump said. "And maybe it won't", Trump said last week about his upcoming talks. -North Korea summit will happen and that the North Koreans very much want it to happen. But Trump has since received praise for garnering promises from the North's regime and for making progress on an issue that vexed so many of his predecessors.
