The Duchess of Sussex and the Queen arrive in Cheshire

There were a few memorable exchanges during Trooping the Colour, including when Queen Elizabeth's great-granddaughter Savannah Phillips aggressively shushed her cousin, Prince George, as he sang during the national anthem. However, it was noted that she was positioned behind Kate Middleton, The Duchess of Sussex.

A number of Meghan's co-stars watched her tie the knot with Prince Harry at Windsor Castle on 19 May.

The pair departed for the day of engagements on Wednesday evening, journeying north on board the royal train.

Meghan Markle reverted back to her wedding dress designer for her first royal visit with the Queen in Cheshire.

Duchess Meghan could be heard asking the Queen in the video, to which the Queen responded, "You go first".

Newlywed Meghan Markle, aka the Duchess of Sussex, has arrived in Cheshire for a Royal engagement. Parisa Fitz-Henley, who played Meghan in Lifetime's Harry & Meghan: A Royal Romance, also popped up on the ballot for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Limited Series or Movie.

Less than a month on the new job, Meghan is still getting the hang of royal protocol.

Meghan wore clear tights as part of her outfit today.

We can only imagine how nervous Prince Harry's other half must have been feeling, but she didn't seem to show it.

Having been a Duchess for just over three weeks, Meghan is certainly being thrown into the deep end with her duties.

"The role that she's taken on it's very austere, it's very sort of serious and I think there's a great weight that she has. acquired through that and she takes it very seriously", she said.

Although she did not take the top spot, according to a palace source, the order of appearance on the balcony is not a hard-and-fast rule, but rather, a matter of etiquette and deference.
