‘Glass’ trailer brings M. Night Shyamalan’s superbeings in for therapy

Young, Anya Taylor Joy reprises her role from "Split" as a superhero in the making.

Following the conclusion of Split, Glass finds Dunn pursuing Crumb's superhuman figure of The Beast in a series of escalating encounters, while the shadowy presence of Price emerges as an orchestrator who holds secrets critical to both men. Unbreakable left Dunn having saved a young girl from being abused, and Split saw James McAvoy's The Horde - a 23-personality being that can transform into a super strength-imbued "beast" - on the run. "Glass" may serve as the culmination of Shyamalan's story, which could determine whether superheroes really do exist or it's all made up by delusional individuals. Watch the Glass trailer below. "And yet some of us still don't die with bullets". And if it's the third instalment of M Night Shyamalan's Eastrail 177 trilogy, just get me the popcorn already.

Glass, which hits theaters on January 18, 2019, is billed as the "culmination" of Shyamalan's trilogy. However, given Shyamalan's reputation for being a "hit-or-miss" director, we're going to have to wait before passing the final judgement.

On the heels of the excellent first trailer that debuted yesterday, Universal Pictures has also released a special Comic-Con poster for Glass, created by none other than artist Alex Ross.

The trailer itself is one of the best released during Comic Con so far, and is a real treat for fans of either Unbreakable or Split, but there's probably more connections between the two movies in the teaser than you first noticed.
