Steelers' Ben Roethlisberger exits practice after hit

Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin gave an update on Roethlisberger's status on Tuesday afternoon.

There he became the first quarterback in more than 35 years to be drafted in the first or second round and never throw a regular-season pass in his first two seasons, according to Football Perspective's Chase Stuart. He was attended to by trainers before heading to the locker room.

Ben has had at least three documented concussions in his National Football League career.

The NFL released a statement regarding a report of a deflated football from Thursday night's preseason tilt between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Philadelphia Eagles. Tomlin typically plays Roethlisberger in the team's third preseason game but this could adjust that schedule.

Pouncey also said that Roethlisberger. Roethlisberger has a history of knee and lower body injuries he's dealt with throughout the years. And apparently, it was a hit to the head. "We were all in a nervous situation, but he got up fine, he looked totally good, and he walked off the field".

Earlier in the day, Tomlin praised Roethlisberger's training camp performance. "It's been a very positive experience". Rudolph, the former Oklahoma State star, said he is anxious to see additional playing time on Thursday. Right tackle Marcus Gilbert said Roethlisberger was rolling to the right side on a goal-line play and ran into Gilbert and linebacker Keion Adams. Dupree practiced in full on Tuesday for the first time since sustaining his concussion on August 3.
