Here's What Wall Street Is Saying About Apple's New iPhones

With the iPhone XR, which comes in yellow, coral, blue and red as well as black and white, the color is already baked into the phone (but you'll probably want a clear case for your glass-backed phone anyway).

The next one is about the new Apple Watch Series 4.

The availability date for the iPhone Xr, set for October 26, was a bit later than expected, but it won't impact unit demand, "particularly given most early adopters will skew to the Xs Max". "Background reading will work with any NDEF formatted tag", according to the Apple developer portal. They're just offerings you've had in the past.

Apple's new iPhone XS, pronounced "ten S", has a 5.8-inch (14.7-cm) screen, and will be sold at a starting price of $999. Third-party developers are expected to take advantage of this addition and possibly add creative solutions to their apps and website experience on the iPhone.

In other words, Apple isn't treating the iPhone XR as some shabby relation.

Apple debuted the 6S in late 2015 and the device quickly gained in popularity.

Activist investor Jana Partners and the California State Teachers' Retirement System (CalSTRS), which both have stakes in Apple, early this year called on the company to give parents more tools to ensure children are using its devices in ways that aren't hurting them. As for the iPhone11,6 identifier, this appears to be the iPhone Xs thanks to the 4GB of RAM detailed in the specifications list.

The iPhone Xs Max (iPhone 11,6) impresses even further in Geekbench tests, thanks to that extra gigabyte of RAM. They come in gold, silver, and space gray. Apple's new iPhones start at $749 with the iPhone XR, regarded as the new standard-issue iPhone, and rise to a thousand dollars with the iPhone XS and $1099 with the XS Max.

Previous survey results showed that many iPhone owners who didn't upgrade to the iPhone X chose not to because it was too expensive or too small.

Single rear camera lens instead of two: This is a big one. Gareth notes that the industry were expecting this model to be delayed slightly, releasing after the iPhone XS, so a concurrent release is most welcome.
