Sources Say Super Bowl Halftime Act Is Set

Adam Levine will bring his Jagger-like moves to the biggest televised concert event of the year, when Maroon 5 performs at the Super Bowl LIII Halftime Show, our sister site Variety reports. Another source tells Us, "The offer has been extended and they've pretty much accepted", while ETOnline says the band is the "frontrunner" to perform.

Neither representatives for Maroon 5 nor the National Football League immediately responded to Fox News' request for comment.

This year's Super Bowl will be held at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, the home of the Falcons. NFL fans are also exhausted of the league always going with the "safe" choice for a halftime show thanks to Justin Timberlake ripping off part of Janet Jackson's top many, many years ago.

Maroon 5 follows up last year's performer Justin Timberlake.

The band is expected to tour their album "Red Pill Blues" for the next few months.

The Maroon 5 singer returns with Voice mainstay Blake Shelton, along with returning coaches Jennifer Hudson (Season 13) and Kelly Clarkson (Season 14). Maroon 5 paired with rapper Cardi B for its recent single, "Girls Like You", which reached No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, and also teamed with Kendrick Lamar on "Don't Wanna Know", which reached No. 6 in 2016. They have some big shoes to fill.

If they can't get Cardi, they can call up any of the people they recently collaborated with.
