Apple iPhone XR pre-orders start today

The iPhone XR is the only model to feature a Liquid Retina LCD display; Apple's iPhone XS and XS Max both use OLED displays. While pre-order for the iPhone XR will begin tomorrow, the device will go on sale starting October 26 across Apple Authorised Resellers in India.

Apple iPhone XR is the most "affordable" iPhone launched this year.

The iPhone Xr is made from aerospace-grade aluminium and is available in a variety of colourful finishes.

iPhone XR officially became available to order online today, more than a month after its pricier counterparts, the $999 iPhone XS and the $1099 XS Max. Let us know in the comments.

And it also comes in more colours - six to be exact, reminiscent of the iPhone 5C from 2013: white, black, blue, yellow, coral and (Product) RED.

The iPhone XR with 12MP rear camera and 7MP front sensor claims to have better low light performance. As per communication by Airtel, the iPhone XR will be delivered to pre-ordering customers on October 26. As for the 256GB model, the total comes up to RM5191, and the 512GB variant will set you back RM6091.

The iPhone Upgrade Programme is available for iPhone XR at apple.com and Apple Stores in the United Kingdom with low monthly payments starting at £41.45 with zero percent interest. The base variant of the iPhone XR is priced at Rs 76,900 in India.

This phone features plenty of new technology including a 6.1-inch Liquid Retina edge-to-edge display, wireless charging and new A12 Bionic processor which is now outperforming all of its Android rivals in speed tests.
