FIRST PICS OUT! Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh as bride and groom

After months of will they, won't they, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh finally got married in Italy's scenic Lake Como on Wednesday but Bollywood's A-lister couple kept things fiercely private leaving the celebrity media breathlessly waiting for scraps of information.

Padmaavat actors Ranveer and Deepika finally got married on Wednesday in a Konkani-style ceremony and to tie the knot as per Sindhi rituals today, owing to Ranveer's Sindhi heritage.

The Konkani marriage took place on Thursday morning in the presence of the two families and close friends.

For their second wedding, the Sindhi ceremony too, both the bride and groom were dressed "head to toe" in Sabyasachi creations, the fashion designer wrote on Instagram.

Yesterday, November 14 was that lovely day when Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh got married and embarked on their new journey of love and a lifetime of togetherness.

Ranveer, Deepika and their families are using golf carts to commute inside the expansive resort, which has heavy security with beefy guards stationed at every nook and corner.

Until the official photos are out, everything is left on our own imagination but we are feeding you with some little updates of the marriage and now, this one is the newest.

On Twitter, Anushka Sharma wrote: "Wishing you both a world of happiness and a lovely journey together".

According to local Indian media reports, the Bajirao Mastani actress would be wearing a bright red lehenga for the Sindhi ceremony. The couple became man and wife yesterday in a Konkani ceremony held at Villa del Balbianello, which overlooks the stunning Lake Como.

Singer Harshdeep Kaur of "Kabira" fame, who performed at the function, put up a picture - the only one from the function - only to take it down later.

While they spoke a bit about their likes and dislikes about each other at a summit in the capital in October, it is only on "Koffee With Karan" that Deepika was a little more open about her relationship with Ranveer.
