OnePlus 6T Thunder Purple variant launches in China

OnePlus 6T Thunder Purple variant launches in China

This information comes from leaked promotional images published by Mr Gizmo, and if legit they mean the 6T will go on sale in "Thunder Purple" sometime in the near future. Unfortunately, there's no news on whether the colour variant will be coming to our shores. The smartphone comes with 6GBand 8GBof RAM, and storage options of 128GB and 256GB.

While OnePlus 6T has many upgrades over the OnePlus 6, it still lacks a certain IP rating that has been anticipated from OnePlus for a long time to assure users about delivering water and dust resistance.

The other two memory options are also available in China - 6/128 GB is CNY3,399, while the 8/256 GB OnePlus 6T is CNY3,999, which is respectively $490/€430 and $580/€510. As far as the rest of the specs are concerned, the OnePlus 6T Thunder Purple model is exactly the same as all the other OnePlus 6T variants.

The "Thunder Purple" colour variant of the OnePlus 6T is launching in China following earlier rumours of its release.

The OnePlus 6T boasts an in-display fingerprint scanner, a 3,700mAh battery and runs Android Pie out of the box.

If you're already rocking a OnePlus 6 or even a 5T, then don't worry. There is also another 16MP sensor housed inside the notch.

Here in the USA, we have two variants of OnePlus 6T, Mirror and Midnight, but both are a Black color.

For photography, OnePlus 6T sports dual 16-megapixel and 20-megapixel rear cameras with f/1.7 aperture and dual LED flash.
