Red Dead Redemption 2 makes record-breaking $750 million in three days

Red Dead Redemption 2 is galloping into the record books thanks to its three-day haul of $725 million, which represents the single-biggest sales weekend enjoyed by any brand in any medium in entertainment history.

That makes RDR2's opening weekend the biggest in the history of entertainment, beating out the likes of Avengers: Infinity War, which had the highest-grossing opening weekend in film history.

Put another way, Red Dead Redemption 2 is the biggest entertainment launch of 2018 (and will likely continue that steam into the holiday). It technically didn't beat out Grand Theft Auto V, which didn't break the opening weekend record since it launched on a Tuesday.

An epic tale of honor and loyalty set in the dying days of the outlaw age, Red Dead Redemption 2 follows Arthur Morgan and the Van der Linde gang as they rob, steal and fight their way across the rugged heartland of America in order to survive.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is now in gamers hands with reviewers calling it one of the best games ever made, but how does it run on both the Xbox and PlayStation consoles?

Red Dead Redemption 2 is, unsurprisingly, off to a fantastic start. There have been few games with three-day sell-through announcements, so it is hard to gauge what the first few days of sales imply about the potential lifetime sales for a given game.

Relishing the full Wild West adventure demands you to have finished the game with 100% completion.

Another user BLAQKROXSTAR mirrored this sentiment, saying "Yea I exhausted turning off HDR because my video clips looked like trash and the game looks disgusting without HDR".

You can still access the clothing items once you have everything you need for the recipes. There are a whole lot of other Legendary Animals to find out there in the big world of Red Dead Redemption 2-check out our guide on where to locate them all.
