Jurgen Klopp fined £8,000 for celebrating on pitch - Premier League 2017

Liverpool manager Juergen Klopp has been fined $10,000 for his wild celebrations after the team's last-minute victor in the Merseyside derby - although his counterpart at Everton saw no problem with them.

BBC pundit Danny Mills had suggested in the aftermath of the game that Klopp "should have been arrested" and that if he had been on the pitch he would have given him a "forearm smash". I see teams rolling them over and they are not being made to work hard for it at all, that's the worry.

"What can I say about it?"

"The plan was not to run [onto the pitch to celebrate]!"

Silva rejected Klopp's version of events, however.

"First of all, I have to apologise for my run", Klopp said.

"But, for me, it's not even a matter because it's normal in football". I would think it is disrespectful if I go to my players and tell them that.

The match appeared at Anfield appeared to be heading for a draw until a speculative, sliced effort from the Netherlands captain was fumbled off the bar by Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford.

As it dropped down, the England global tried to guide it over the bar but instead it bounced twice off the top of the upright but Origi headed the rebound in.

Pickford apologised for his blunder but gave a different version of events.

"We make mistakes, but usually I learn from it".

Klopp's joy was in contrast with Everton's misery after their atrocious Merseyside derby record was extended by Origi's last-gasp goal. But when I hit it, I thought, 'Never again!' and looked back to the defence.

"Fouls and harsh tackles happen, but in his case it was so obvious that it was a break in his development". Proud to be an Evertonian as always. "And coming on tonight, he can finish that book and from now on everything will be fine again". He will only get better with game time.

'With Robbo it's not that serious, but like with Sadio we need to have a look'.

I worry for them but this is where they are. "It was a lucky, lucky, lucky day for Liverpool".
