Meet the OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition

Meet the OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition

Moreover, OnePlus is also the first to release a smartphone with 10GB of RAM globally and new McLaren Edition of 6T will be the first device.

For starters, the OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition comes with an orange accent that nods to McLaren's famous papaya orange it has used one and off for decades. OnePlus should confirm the pricing and availability of the limited edition OnePlus 6T smartphone today. Buyers can head over to Amazon.in, OnePlus official online store and OnePlus exclusive storesBangalore, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Pune, Jaipur and Ahmedabad.

OnePlus launched the new OnePlus 6T a few months ago. But OnePlus feels that its users are comfortable with what's on offer.

The European price of the device is GBP649 (Rs 58,499 approximately), thus, making it the most expensive OnePlus phone to date. There are color images and videos highlighting both McLaren and OnePlus companies.

The OnePlus 6T McLaren edition design is the same design you've come to know from the OP6T, though with a flash of "Papaya Orange" colouring normally associated with the sports auto brand, integrated in a strip around the carbon fibre look rear panel.

Another big difference is in how the battery on the OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition charges.

Once the phone is up and running, the true nature of the McLaren book comes alive as a "Salute to Speed" Augmented Reality App brings some fascinating insight and cool tricks. Packing a rather excessive-seeming 10GB of RAM, the latest addition to the OnePlus stable rocks not only a headline-grabbing amount of memory (which is probably the point), but also the incredibly fast Warp Charge 30 charging system... and a $699 price tag.

It's worth noting that OnePlus' Warp Charge 30 is still a step below OPPO's new SuperVOOC charger. While it does appear that Warp Charge is just a simple rebrand of Dash Charge, Warp Charge 30 promises to give you one day of power in 20 minutes.

But is it much different to or much of an upgrade on the OnePlus 6T? Inspired by the desire to constantly challenge existing standards, OnePlus and McLaren have introduced an intricate design combined with a powerful and versatile experience. Both these design cues are in line with McLaren's signature design in F1 cars.

There's also a plaque featuring a tiny shard of carbon fiber fashioned into the McLaren logo.

Finally, the OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition comes with a specially designed McLaren logo using the F1 AA-grade carbon fibre, which the company says is the same material used in the McLaren MCL33 2018 Formula 1 auto.
