Ariana Grande Confirmed As Coachella Headliner As 2019 Line-Up Revealed

It features Ariana Grande, Childish Gambino and Rock band Tame Impala.

Also new for 2019: YouTube will be the exclusive playlist partner for Coachella, which includes playlist integration on the Coachella site and festival app and in YouTube Music. While Gambino will perform at day one, Tame Impala will perform on second day and Ariana Grande will be the third one to perform at the festival. For more details, head over to the Coachella website. West is known for being an innovator in many different ways, including for his performances.

DJ Snake, Diplo, Ella Mai, Jaden Smith, Solange, Weezer, Wiz Khalifa, Khalid, Zedd and Pusha T are also slated to perform.

The only thing absent from this year's Coachella is anything approaching a heritage rock act near the top of the bill.

Organisers say it attracted 250,000 people in 2017.

Lady Gaga -a recent Coachella headliner herself -may have embodied the push-and pull between rock and pop values (whatever that means in 2019) in A Star Is Born.

The festival will once again take place over two weekends from 12 - 14 April and then again from 19 - 21 April.

You can check out the full poster above - and note that passes go on sale beginning Friday (January 4).

Kanye West was rumoured to be headlining the show but apparently oulled out over disagreements about his stage set-up.
