Police reportedly called after R. Kelly spotted at Chicago night club

At a Tuesday news conference, Cook County State's Attorney Kim Foxx called on potential victims and witnesses to come forward following the "deeply disturbing" allegations in the documentary.

"He just told me to take off my clothes and we would proceed from there", she said. Foxx stated that her office has already been in contact with the families of two alleged victims - both of whom are over the age of 18 - but empasized that cooperation from other victims or witnesses is essential in order for her office to properly investigate the claims. "Allegations of domestic violence or sexual assault require someone to say what they've seen, heard or experienced". Mr. Henry James Mason, investigators said in a police report, threatened to harm and kill members of the Savage family in retaliation for attempting to contact daughter Joycelyn Savage. Families who have tried to rescue their daughters whom they say Kelly has taken captive also appeared in the series.

A rep for Future did not respond to a request for comment.

Kelly's Chicago attorney, Steve Greenberg, said in a phone interview Tuesday evening that the allegations in the Lifetime documentary were false.

The 32-year-old added she had wanted to "create something extremely defiant and provocative because I was angry and still hadn't processed the trauma that had occurred in my own life".

"Who makes their assessment of the evidence based on reality TV?" he said. There are no photos of him with these women.

Savage said he and his wife were involved with Lifetime's "Surviving R. Kelly" series. She has not, however, been in touch with Kelly.

The singer has long since dodged conviction, getting acquited of charges of child pornography back in 2008. The original deal for Kelly to pay for the property went for 10 years with a monthly payment of $22,927.41.

Gaga had come under scrutiny in 2013 when she made a decision to collaborate with Kelly, despite his alleged history of sexual misconduct, performing the song together at the American Music Awards that same year. Various former members of Kelly's inner circle, family, music industry associates and psychologist weighing in on the trauma linked to Kelly's style of alleged abuse were also featured in the three-night series.
