How much privacy will Meghan and Harry's child have?

How much privacy will Meghan and Harry's child have?

Britain's Prince Harry and his pregnant wife Meghan are to set up their own household, breaking away from the joint operation they shared with Harry's elder brother William and his wife Kate.

The 37-year-old appears to have carried out her last public engagements before she gives birth to her first child. But the Duke and Duchess of Sussex may decide to go rogue when it comes to naming their firstborn, and where better to get inspiration from than their own family trees?

Meghan and Prince Harry recently made an appearance at London's Canada House and the Commonwealth Day service at Westminster Abbey on Monday (Tuesday NZ time).

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, in particular, keep Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis out of the public eye and we only see them at some annual events, such as Trooping the Colour or through official photographs. As per the announcement, Meghan and Harry will be moving their office to the Queen's residence, Buckingham Palace while Kate and William continue to work out of Kensington Palace.

Some might interpret this news as evidence of the oft-rumoured "rift" between the young royals, but as the palace statement explains, it's simply business.

The Duchess may also be hard at work on her family's move to their new home, Frogmore Cottage.

Harry and Meghan's office and staff will move to Buckingham Palace in the coming months.

She is presumed to be a dual British-American citizen and according to a CV found online, she also played a part in Hillary Clinton's 2016 presidential campaign.

They still have to find a new Private Secretary - the most senior role in their office - to replace Samantha Cohen who will leave in the summer.

The couples could still join forces for large things such as Heads Together, their mental health campaign. The PEOPLE Magazine story featuring five of Meghan's friends stepping up to defend her followed by her New York Takeover for her baby shower, which was reportedly carried out without KP's involvement, suggested that Meghan and Harry are trying out new moves, working out a new strategy for their brand that may not align with the Cambridge style.
