Obviously, that's just the tip of the iceberg in regards to Mortal Kombat 11's full roster, which was expanded yesterday with the announcement of Kotal Kahn. The trailer which was revealed during the panel showed that Noob Saibot's finisher has the fighter gutting an enemy before diving into them and coming out of their mouths, thus splitting the character totally in half.

Mortal Kombat 11 is an upcoming fighting video game developed by NetherRealm Studios and published by Warner Bros.

Yesterday, NetherRealm studios presented another installment of their Kombat Kast presentations. Meanwhile, early "Mortal Kombat" villain Shang Tsung returns to the franchise as the Kryptkeeper of the game's cosmetic and collectible shop. Interestingly, the character is voiced by the Japanese-American actor, martial artist and stuntman Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa, who starred as this same character in the 1995 Mortal Kombat movie.

NetherRealm didn't reveal any gameplay for the new fighter during the panel. Further details on how or when players can acquire Shang Tsung also weren't provided.

Noob Saibot is the original Sub-Zero and was once known as Bi-Han. But, unlike Shang Tsung, this fighter will be part of the game's main roster.

Mortal Kombat 11 launches on April 23 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. In the said presentation it was revealed that Kotal Kahn will officially be making his way into the game as a playable character.
