Premier League Power Rankings: Liverpool's Sadio Mane top

Mane is proving to Liverpool's most important attacker in the run-in.

However, Fulham's equaliser did arrive on 74 minutes following a mix-up between Virgil van Dijk and Alisson which allowed Babel to tap into an empty net. The run stretched back to January 3 when Jurgen Klopp's team were beaten 2-1 by title-rivals Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium. It would have been a bit gutting if we never got the three points, if I'm honest.

The Senegal global scored his ninth goal in as many league games during a 2-1 win at Fulham, with team-mate Trent Alexander-Arnold climbing one place into No 7 spot.

Fulham boss Scott Parker, who replaced Claudio Ranieri as the boss at Craven Cottage was looking for the positives after another damaging defeat for the west Londoners.
"The back end of the game we came strong and caused Liverpool some problems".

Liverpool started the second half with greater intent to try and put the game to bed.

Liverpool: Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Matip, Van Dijk, Robertson, Fabinho, Wijnaldum, Lallana, Mane, Salah, Firmino.

And the Cottagers thought they'd levelled on 65 minutes when Aleksandar Mitrovic diverted Zambo Anguissa's effort past Alisson, but the Serbia worldwide was flagged offside.

Mane was inches away from securing the points and doubling his tally for the day with a deft header from a corner that clipped the top of the crossbar.

"The manager has only been in charge a couple of weeks, and I think you can see the turnaround in performances already", Cairney said.

A couple of football experts have predicted who will emerge victor of the 2018-19 Premier League Player of the Year.

Meanwhile, Mohamed Salah's goal drought continued as the Egyptian has scored just once now in his last 10 games, but it was his shot that Rico spilled before the Spaniard unnecessarily pulled down Mane.

Fulham's recent results against Liverpool do not make for impressive reading.
