R. Kelly Accusers Speak Out After 'CBS This Morning' Interview

Fox News Jesse Watters host mixed up Black morning show anchors Robin Roberts and Gayle King during The Five on Wednesday, following up the mistake with a smug smile while others laughed along.

King was widely praised after her jaw-dropping interview with R. Kelly aired earlier this week-in which the singer vehemently denied all sexual abuse allegations against him while becoming increasingly irate and emotional, to the point where he stood up and began shouting aggressively at the camera.

Roberts admitted to not being sure if she wanted to do the interview at first, "I'll be completely honest, I was like I don't know if I want to do the interview or not". Stephen Colbert asked King on the Late Show Thursday night.

Colbert noted "it's not OK, but it's OK".

Jussie Smollett ("Empire") describes an attack Chicago police are investigating as a possible hate crime in an interview with Robin Roberts on ABC's "Good Morning America".

Watters quickly apologized after being corrected on the air, and then later at the end of the show held up a small dry erase white board that read, "I'm sorry Gayle + Robin".

King said she thought that if she told him to calm down, it would make the situation worse.

Gayle King had the flawless response when a political commentator confused her with Robin Roberts.

"I've never met Mr. Kelly", Savage said.

"In the green room, Elton John called me!" However, Watters felt the need to defend Kelly's volatile behavior in the interview. "I know how much work went into being balanced about what to ask, to challenge him on certain things".

"I never thought that he was going to hurt me or hit me", she added.

The accolades King has been receiving for her powerful interview with Kelly - who is now facing charges on 10 counts of aggravated sexual abuse, among other charges - aren't just from other journalists, but family, friends, and even megastar celebrities. "I cannot think of another case where there is this anger on so many sides, and you can understand why there would be".

The Savages say they haven't seen their daughter in person in more than two years.
