Fortnite set to Introduce Apex legends’ Respawn Mechanic

Fortnite set to Introduce Apex legends’ Respawn Mechanic

With the arrival of the Reboot Van, teammates will be able to bring fallen friends back to the game. Once used, the van will be on cooldown and can not be used again for an undetermined amount of time.

Epic Games has announced that it's adding Reboot Vans to Fortnite. As given away by the name, the van will allow players to reboot/respawn eliminated teammates. The reboot vans though are not effective at all times as they can not be used for a certain duration of time after being used for respawning.

With the success of the Titanfall-based battle royale, Fortnite obviously needed to make some changes.

Your teammates won't have any items when they bounce back, so they'll need to leech off whoever revived them or scramble to find whatever hasn't already been picked over, but at least you'll have the numbers in your favour again. Reboot Vans will be available in the game's 8.30 patch update.

When Season 8 of "Fortnite" was released, several users noticed weird vans showing up in replay mode.

As we mentioned, if you've played "Apex Legends" or have watched others play it, this concept will feel familiar.

This is clear news that the phenomenal early launch success of Apex Legends-which has become a worthy adversary to Fortnite-has definitely caught the eye of Epic. These vans are found at several prominent locations across the Battle Royale map. Most of the player base wants a revert, but it's unclear if we're ever going to get it.

Epic will nearly certainly get some criticism for ripping another feature from a rival game.

Players can only use Reboot Vans when on a team. "They really need to do something about this mid to late game intensity".
