Maurizio Sarri expects Olivier Giroud to stay at Chelsea this summer

Maurizio Sarri expects Olivier Giroud to stay at Chelsea this summer

CHELSEA have not suffered a home Premier League defeat on a Monday since 1994 and will be aiming to keep that record intact when they host West Ham on tonight. A win at Stamford Bridge will move the Blues into the top four at the expense of Tottenham Hotspur, who are not in action this weekend, or Arsenal should they fail to win at Everton on Sunday.

If you want to watch the Chelsea vs West Ham match online, you can do so on Sky Sports Premier League. And so if they are able to improve we will be probably a better team in the future.

Callum Hudson-Odoi therefore, sang the praise of the star player as he noted that he has not seen such performance in a live game, adding that watching and learning from such quality is a boost to his career.

Chelsea must still make trips to both Liverpool and Manchester United in a testing end to the season, leaving the Blues eyeing even more closely home wins over West Ham, Burnley and Watford.

However, Chelsea could also secure Champions League qualification by winning the Europa League and they face Slavia Prague in the last eight. "I think he has time for improvement".

When asked if he wanted Higuain to stay next season, Sarri replied, "Yes of course, but it depends on the club, it depends on Juventus".

"At the beginning of the season, Hudson-Odoi had great potential but wasn't ready to play in the Premier League".

"But now they are ready - and fresh".

"Yarmolenko is working very well, he has no pain, he is running and kicking the ball, but maybe it will be too soon for him to play before we finish", said Pellegrini.

"The last part of the season will be very hard for every team".

"We have a lot of very good young players who are improving". But I think also that he will be able to be very useful for us in the last part of the season.

Maurizio Sarri expects Chelsea to take up a one-year option on Olivier Giroud's contract, having been encouraged that the France striker is keen to remain at Stamford Bridge.
