And days before a man named Eric Holder would be charged with murder. He was charged with one count of murder, two counts of attempted murder and felony. Holder stood behind a glass structure while officers surrounded him-most likely because of online threats directed at Holder after he was named the suspect and his subsequent arrest Tuesday-as Darden entered a not guilty plea.

During the court proceedings, Holder agreed to delay his next court proceeding until May 10.Holder is set to face life in prison and his bail is set at $5 million.

A candlelight vigil is being held in San Diego Friday night for slain rapper Nipsey Hussle.

Video evidence showed Holder walking up to Hussle and others several times, then returning with a handgun. The attempted murder charges are for the alleged shootings of the two other victims, Kerry Lathan and Shermi Cervabta Villanueva.

Los Angeles Police Chief Michael Moore said at one point the suspect left before coming back with a gun and opening fire.

Holder was arrested on Wednesday in Bellflower by L.A. County sheriff's deputies and turned over to the LAPD.

People mourn Nipsey Hussle outside his Hyde Park store The Marathon Clothing on April 1, 2019, the day after the rapper was fatally shot there.

The friend was also injured in the attack, as was another man, said to be the friend's cousin, who was driving them.
