Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey is Coming to Consoles in December 2019

"In Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey, players are challenged to survive and evolve in the harsh yet lovely land of Africa spanning from ten million to two million years ago".

A console release will follow for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in December, while the title will come to other PC digital stores in August 2020.

Lastly, it's worth noting that Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey is going to be available on PC only through the Epic Games Store, and it will remain like that for an entire year. You explore the world of Neogene Africa as you try to grow your clan of primates from generation to generation.

Honestly, no joke! Panache Digital Games and Private Decision made the announcement today that Ancestors: Humankind Odyssey will be releasing this December for PS4 and Xbox One. Generations will challenge the threats that they encounter, as players guide their evolution in to overcome the variety of terrain and predators that lie in wait.

The long-awaited debut title from Panache Digital Games, the studio formed by ex- Assassin's Creed creative director Patrice Désilets, will be making its PC debut on August 27, 2019. In the video, which you can watch up above, Patrice Désilets explains the core concepts behind the game and what will drive players forward in their quest for survival.

"Our goal for Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey is to provide an experience no player has ever lived before", Désilets says.

After years of work, the Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey release date is official and it isn't far off. "Our small team is creating an ambitious and engaging game, with a unique setting that will appeal to players of all kinds. As a developer focused publisher, this is an important approach we take in working with smaller independent teams".

One of the first things that players wanted to know was just how expansive the game really is.
