Death Stranding unveils November 8 release with new trailer

As posted on the official PlayStation game-page, Death Stranding multiplayer is said to offer "Asynchronous gameplay" where players are said to never cross path with one another. Besieged by death's tide at every turn, Sam Bridges must fearless a world utterly transformed by the Death Stranding. Kojima says that Death Stranding will help to break down the "walls" that people have built and will help them stop living in "isolation". Death Stranding is a completely new type of action game, where the goal of the player is to reconnect isolated cities and a fragmented society.

It turns out the Death Stranding BB Pod is more than just a live-sized decoration created to make the Collector's Edition more appealing. Everything in Death Stranding, from the story to the gameplay, will be connected by the idea of a "Strand" or connection. The PlayStation Store now lists the release date as November 8, classifying the game as an action/ adventure title and putting up a PEGI-18 rating before it.

Death Stranding's multiplayer gameplay is all about this idea and Kojima has teased some collaborative gameplay modes.

Death Stranding, the freakish next game from Metal Gear Solid director Hideo Kojima, will hit PlayStation 4 on November 8, 2019, publisher Sony said today.

Potentially, when this gradual reveal has run its course, we may get a new trailer and release date.

It's worth pointing out that Fucito may be merely guessing here due to the fact that the PS4 cover does not feature the "Only on PS" label.

Sony might've pulled a switcheroo on our expectations: Death Stranding could launch in 2019 and The Last of Us Part II could be delayed.
