Giannis has 39, Bucks beat Celtics 113-101, lead series 3-1

The over is 9-4 in Celtics last 13 road games.

"Now it's time to get ready for Game 5".

Perhaps us Boston Celtics fans are the one's to blame.

Ninety-six percent of teams in the history of the NBA Playoffs have successfully eliminated their opponent in a seven-game series when leading 3-1. And it just happened on its own, natural.

Irving forced his way out of Cleveland and being dealt to Boston on August 22, 2017. Pierce was convinced that his Celtics were going to destroy the Bucks and that Giannis Antetokoumpo and company wouldn't be able to bounce back.

But all of that was with Antetokounmpo or Middleton playing at least eight minutes.

"When the ball doesn't go in the rim, the energy of the basketball can translate into the other end as well". That's just a choice we have to make, just being more communicative. When you get a little older, you need that guy that can go and get his shot any time he possibly can. "It can take you out mentally".

Bucks lean on bench en route to 3-1 series lead: ESPN's Malika Andrews touched on the Bucks' Game 4 win over the Celtics and how their bench played an integral part in them taking a 3-1 lead in the series.

Boston led by as many as 11 points before Connaughton made a long three at the first-quarter buzzer to make it 30-22. I try to utilize their aggression against them and still put my teammates in great position while still being aggressive.

The series will be over soon enough, in all likelihood.

February 27, after the Celtics lost their fourth straight game since the All-Star Break: "I can't wait for all this other B.S. about the regular season [to be over] ... and talking over and over and over again about what we can to keep getting better in the regular season. That's what I'm here for". The Bucks bested the Celtics by nine points in the third quarter in Game 3.

March 24, after another four-game losing streak: "There's light at the end of all this". "I'm looking forward to that challenge". We're watching a player on the path to Springfield, Massachusetts.

The boos came down from the capacity crowd on Monday, and believe me: The Celtics deserved them, all of them. The Bucks now lead the Eastern Conference semifinal 3-1.

It's understandable why Irving would want to leave the court so quickly. Gone. The optimism Boston built in a Game 1 win? The Celtics reserves finished with just 23 points between the two games. "Connaughton's been excellent. George Hill's been absolutely tremendous". He scored 0.79 points per possession (on 39.4 percent shooting) on those plays, which makes him one of the worst isolation scorers in the playoffs.

The Bucks went 27-14 on the road in the regular season, which tied them with the two-time defending champion Golden State Warriors for the best road mark in the National Basketball Association.
