"But what both teams have done, I've never seen before in an English Premier League, first division, whatever you want to call it, have so many points".

According to Sky Sports, the Premier League defending champions are involved in one of the toughest title race in recent season with Liverpool, as they lead the log with one point with two games to the end of the campaign.

Although he doesn't think that Brendan Rodgers' side are going to come back home with any points, he has admitted that Leicester are the one team outside the top six that the Reds would pick for City.

"The game was incredibly good".

"I said to him: 'What does it say about you?' He said: 'I don't know.' I said: 'That you can play everything!' When I told him that he plays the position, he was surprised himself. My focus is on Leicester City", he said.

With just two games left of the Premier League season the race to be crowned champion is still on, something we've not been able to say for a few seasons now.

"I think Brendan has shown his quality as a manager".

So Leicester fans have a choice to make here: Do they need a win or do they need Liverpool to not win the title? The players know it will be an incredible task for us but of course, it's already a final for us.

"It then gives us a great springboard to finish the season, then has a really good pre-season to get ready for next year." added Rogers.

Leicester's realistic chances of finishing seventh will be significantly lower if Wolves were to beat relegated Fulham on Saturday.

De Bruyne picked up a hamstring injury against Tottenham a fortnight ago and will miss the meeting with the Foxes, while Fernandinho has a knee problem that he sustained during the win at Manchester United.

That isn't how the Newcastle manager works, and actually if he can get a decent tune out of his side here and showcase what they can do, and what they could possibly achieve with a little more reinforcement, it might be in his best interests moving forward.
