Neymar's Dad Breaks Silence On FC Barcelona Rumours

Last week Barcelona vice-president Jordi Cardoner claimed that Neymar wants to return to the Spanish champions, with local media reporting that the player was willing to take a pay cut of €12m to push the deal through.

Barcelona are eyeing a potential homecoming for Neymar two years after receiving a world-record £198m fee for the Brazilian.

PSG do not want to sell Neymar this summer despite interest from Barcelona, according to reports in France.

High-ranking sources at Barcelona have told ESPN FC that if they are able to include Coutinho as part of the deal, the chances of re-signing Neymar during the transfer window are "much bigger". PSG, with Kylian Mbappe and Edinson Cavani, have been one of the UCL favorites over the last few seasons and are looking to get over the hump and win the competition for the first time.

La Liga president Javier Tebas has said he would rather Neymar does not return to La Liga if he can not improve his behaviour.

Also mentioned is Barça player Philippe Coutinho, who could enter in the operation to reduce the cost of the transfer.

Vidal and Chile, winners of the past two Copa America tournaments, are preparing for a crunch semi-final date with Peru in Porto Alegre.

Whatever happens Barcelona hold the majority of the cards and president Josep Maria Bartomeu has laid down the law to Neymar. He has questioned Neymar's possible return to the Spanish league because "off the pitch he is not an example". As per reports, Ousmane Dembélé, Ivan Rakitic, Malcom, and Samuel Umtiti will also be the next names in the player sales.
