Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas: Newlyweds suffer tragic heartbreak after ‘freak accident’

Singer Joe Jonas and his wife, actress Sophie Turner, lost their dog Waldo Picasso this week after he was hit by a auto in New York City. As per reports Waldo, an Alaskan Klee Kai, was struck and killed by a vehicle in Manhattan, New York City.

After the initial news broke, a rep for Joe told TMZ that the tragedy was a "freak accident".

It reportedly took the newlyweds two days to go to the police because of how upset they both were, even seeking out help from a therapist in the wake of the tragedy, according to TMZ.

Before the video shoot Joe and Sophie comforted each other as they walked in a New York City park with Porky. "Please welcome my little brother @waldopicassojonas".

"Actually, the first week I got Porky, we flew to Alaska for a show, by coincidence", he said.

Waldo and Porky appeared with Jonas in PEOPLE's Sexiest Man Alive issue last November. "I think I knew they were definitely part of the family when my parents met them and my mom was buying them gifts and treats and hoping that she could babysit when I travel", he shared.

It's terrible to imagine something like this happening to such a beloved member of the family like a dog.

At the time of the incident on Wednesday, the Alaskan Klee Kai was being walked on the lower east side of Manhattan by Jonas and Turner's dog walker, according to the outlet.

Waldo was introduced to the world in a post on Porky's Instagram.
